Not establishing an effective and robust process for identifying and managing downstream risks can expose a company's reputation and business. Workshop Description:
With several states now in their 2nd or more year of implementation of their electronics recycling laws, and several more in the beginning stages, it is time to step back and take a look at some of the lessons learned as well as areas for potential harmonization. The Electronics Recycling Coordination Clearinghouse (ERCC) was formed earlier this year to bring state managers and other stakeholders together to work on joint solutions to common implementation challenges. The ERCC will host an open dialogue and roundtable on opportunities for harmonization featuring several state program managers, manufacturers, retailers, recyclers and other stakeholders addressing key topics.
