2 | 2014 Recycling Innovators Forum: Submission deadline extended

The deadline has been extended until May 30 for submitting a short proposal to the second annual Recycling Innovators Forum. This is a prime opportunity if you were considering entering the competition but lacked the time to prepare your submission.

Designed to elevate and support actionable ideas that will generate real returns for recycling companies and stakeholders, the 2014 Recycling Innovators Forum enables inventors, teams, researchers, entrepreneurs and others to compete for cash prizes and industry exposure.

The 2014l Recycling Innovators Forum is sponsored by Alcoa, the American Chemistry Council, Coca-Cola Recycling, Resource Recycling (the parent company of this publication) and Waste Management. The competition will be held on Sept. 15, the day before the start of the annual Resource Recycling Conference in New Orleans, and will award two $20,000 prizes: one to the top idea submitted by an individual or small group of entrepreneurs, and another to the top proposal from an established company or organization.

6 | E-Scrap 2014: Registration now open

It's time to sign up for the most robust e-scrap recycling conference in North America. E-Scrap 2014 will be held in October at Orlando's Rosen Shingle Creek, and more than 1,000 attendees and over 125 exhibiting companies are expected to be on hand. Make sure you are part of the industry's biggest networking, education and deal-making event.

And this year there will be even more time to connect with the people and firms that matter to your firm's growth.
