2 | E-Scrap 2013: IT asset management undergoing major changes

Today's IT asset disposition practices will be soon archaic. Form-factor changes, where IT devices are getting smaller and smaller, will result in significant operational changes to the ITAD industry as these tablets and other devices reach their end of life. At the same time, continued consolidation among OEMS is being duplicated by consolidation among larger ITAD firms. And other market shifts, including the surge in employees using personal hardware for corporate work as well as the move of computing capacity to the cloud, are resulting in the need for e-scrap managers to get the latest data and assessments.
