MRF designer and equipment manufacturer Stadler America has entered into a partnership with Becker Complete Compactor, Inc. Both firms are based in South Carolina, and through the pact, they will aim to service more clients in the Southeast. For more, click here.


Colombian polyester fiber producer and PET recycler Enka de Colombia S.A. recently installed a Starlinger recoSTAR PET 300 iV+ recycling line for bottle-to-bottle recycling at a facility in the city of Medellin. An established producer of fibers, filaments, yarns and resins for the textile industry, Enka recently entered the bottle-to-bottle recycling market. Find out more details here.

10 | Request for proposals


Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) will be requesting proposals for recycling processing services to start April 1, 2016. The RFP will pertain to processing 85,000 tons per year of recyclables collected from Seattle apartments, residents and small businesses. A pre-release draft RFP is available here.
