Recycling has last laugh

As part of America Recycles Day, Keep America Beautiful and its partners hope to show that recycling is no joke by encouraging the public to make jokes about it.

KAB is sponsoring its first-ever video contest that invites the public to submit a one-minute video that contains a humorous one-liner, a comic strip or skit about recycling to the contest's YouTube page by Oct. 21. The ARD Video Committee will vote on its top 10, which will be uploaded to its YouTube page by Nov. 8. During the following week, the public will select the winner by clicking the "like" button next to their favorite video.
