Certification scorecard

With the roster of companies attaining third-party certifications or audits continuing to grow, E-Scrap News has compiled a round-up of the firms announcing certification this past week.

• Reciclo Metais of Sao Paulo, Brazil is now certified to ISO 14001.
• Access Information Management of Madison, Wisconsin; Proshred of Northern Virginia of Sterling, Virginia; Adera Inc. of Naples, Florida; Back Thru The Future Computer Recycling of Franklin, New Jersey; Business Data Record Services, Inc. of New Brighton, Minnesota; Data Chambers Records Management of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; Kodiak Information Management of Lynchburg, Virginia; Proshred San Diego of San Diego, California; Safe Harbor Systems Corporation of St. Paul, Minnesota; Texas Security Shredding of Houston, Texas; and Weaver-SecurShred of Akron, Ohio have either achieved or renewed their NAID Certification for Physical Destruction of Hard Drives.
