With the roster of companies attaining third-party certifications or audits continuing to grow, E-Scrap News has compiled a round-up of the firms announcing certification this past week.

BCS Recycling Specialists of Canoga Park, California is certified to ISO 14001 in addition to R2.

Sipi Metals' Chicago facility is certified to ISO 14001. The site is also ISO 9001 certified and CHWMEG audited.

The Waste Commission of Scott County, Iowa's electronics demanufacturing facility is now R2 certified – a first for a public agency.

Eagle Secure Shredding & Doc Mgmt LLC of Tucker, Georgia; First-Shred LLC of Fridley, Minnesota; IROW of Mosinee, Wisconsin; Loss Protection & Investigations, Inc. of Fresno, California; SafeGuard Destruction Services, Inc. of Fort Myers, Florida; Shred Right (a Rohn Industries Co.) of St. Paul, Minnesota; and ShredTex of Houston, Texas have all either achieved or renewed their NAID Certification for Physical Destruction of Hard Drives.
