National organizations hold board elections

The National Recycling Coalition and the U.S. Composting Council are both currently holding board elections with deadlines for nominations coming up.

The National Recycling Coalition 2012 Board of Directors elections have an Aug. 20 deadline for nominations. There is an electronic nomination form available on the NRC website. According to a letter from NRC president Mark Lichtenstein, the group "sincerely hopes you will consider contributing your skills, energy, enthusiasm, and time to continuing to make NRC a vital organization in the world of recycling and sustainable materials management."

The U.S. Composting Council is also holding board elections for the 2013 Board of Directors and the nomination process is still open. Click here for more information.
