Story of electronics seen around the world

The latest video in The Story of Stuff series has enjoyed widespread release this past week. The eight-minute animated short, The Story of Electronics, received considerable press coverage as an easy to digest primer on electronic waste generation and disposal, toxicity and other general information about the average lifecycle of our electronic gadgets, and was picked up by several media outlets including Time, The Guardian, Salon, TechCrunch, and many other prominent web sources. The film was made in close partnership with the Electronics TakeBack Coalition and concluded with a call for greater producer responsibility, refurbishment and design for recycling standards.
