Australia: An e-scrap collection event is scheduled this month in Sydney. A collection event held in June broke records, says Invest in Australia, collecting 26 tons of material from nearly 800 participants.

Germany: A man in Germany has started an e-scrap collection system, reports dw.com. People can drop their devices into open-top bins and use an accompanying app to get discount vouchers for new electronics.
