Certification scorecard

With the roster of companies attaining third-party certifications or audits continuing to grow, E-Scrap News has compiled a round-up of the firms announcing certification this past week.

• Technotrash Alberta has received both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications at its Calgary plant.
• All of AERC's Com-Cycle facilities are now R2 and RIOS certified.
• Global Environmental Services' Georgetown, Kentucky plant is now dual-certified to the e-Stewards and R2 standards.
• The Cincinnati, Ohio facility for 2trg has obtained a range of certifications, including ISO 14001, R2 and e-Stewards.
• ECOvanta has successfully achieved ISO 14001 and R2 certifications for its Philadelphia, Pennsylvania facility.
• ARCOA, formerly Midwest Electronics Recycling, has successfully completed R2 and ISO 14001 certifications.
• Surplus Exchange's Kansas City, Missouri plant is now ISO 14001 and e-Stewards compliant.
• USMe, LLC has attained both R2 and ISO 14001certifications.
• Fair Lawn, New Jersey-based Anything IT has successfully achieved ISO 14001 and R2 certifications.
• CORRECTION: Last week, Global Electric Electronic Processing's Detroit facility was incorrectly listed as e-Stewards certified. The listing should have announced GEEP's Grand Prairie, Texas facility as e-Stewards certified. E-Scrap News apologizes for the error.
