Korean firm Cheil Industries has successfully patented a method of recycling acrylic resin. Patent No. 8,048,934 describes the composition for acrylic artificial stone, including a (meth)acrylic monomer and an inorganic material.

German firm Armacell Enterprise GmbH has filed Patent Application No. 20110266487 for a polyester manufacturing process that uses pre-cleaned and compounded post-consumer polyester material. The process specifically relates to low-density polyester foam.

Patent Application No. 20110274915 has been filed by Colorado inventor Biff Roberson, covering recycled plastic chip panel construction. The process involves multiple layers of thermoplastic bonded together to form a finished product.
