How do I register? Can I register online?

You can register through our online registration form, or by calling 503-233-1305.

What does my registration fee include?

Registration includes two continental breakfasts, two lunches, refreshment breaks, conference packet, access to a secure website containing the attendee list and conference proceedings, admission to all Resource Recycling Conference sessions, the trade show, and evening reception.

Is there a one-day registration fee?

The Resource Recycling Conference does not have a one-day registration. The cost of registration includes both days of the conference.

Can I attend just the trade show?

The Resource Recycling Conference does not have a trade show only registration. Registration will allow you to enter the trade show as well as all of the sessions, and everything mentioned above.

When and where can I pick up my name badge and conference packet?

Attendees may pick up their name badge and conference packet at the conference registration desk located in the prefunction of the XXXXX at the Hilton Austin, Austin Texas. Conference registration will be open the following hours:
Monday, August 27th from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Tuesday, August 28th from 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
Wednesday, August 29th from 7:30 am - 12:00 pm

Can I pick up my colleagues name badge and packet?

Yes, please visit us at the registration desk to pick up your conference materials.

Do I have to wear my name badge?

Yes, we require that you wear your name badge at all times. Your badge is your admission ticket to all elements of the conference, including the exhibit hall, conference sessions, meals and the Tuesday night reception. Security personnel will enforce this requirement.

I am unable to attend. Will I be able to get a refund?

Yes, we are able to provide refunds for registration fees for those who are unable to attend. There is a $50 processing fee. Please email Jef Drawbaugh for refund information.

Which is the headquarter hotel?

The 2012 Resource Recycling Conference will be held at the Hilton Austin located at XXXXXX.

What are the room rates and cut-off date?

Conference attendees will receive a special hotel room rate of $XXX plus taxes for single/double occupancy. Government attendees will receive the current government per diem. Reservations can be made by calling 888.421.1442. Online reservations are available here. Hotel reservations must be made by XXXXX, 2012.

How do I make hotel reservations?

What are the trade show hours?

When will I receive the conference proceedings? What will this include?

The conference proceedings, full attendee list and additional conference information will be available within two weeks following the conference. Registered attendees will receive a link to a secure website by email. The email will include a username and password to log in.

Is there complimentary internet available?

What is the conference dress attire?

Keeping in step with the casual style of the recycling industry, we are asking attendees to have business-casual attire in mind when packing for the conference. Since conference meeting rooms are often kept at cooler temperatures, remember to bring layers, so that you will be comfortable at sessions throughout the day.

I am a member of the media, do you provide media registrations/passes?

The Resource Recycling Conference welcomes professional editorial staff of print, online and broadcast media to attend on a complimentary basis. Contact Jef Drawbaugh at 503.233.1305 or jef@resource-recycling.com for complimentary registration approval.

Are there volunteer and/or scholarship opportunities?

The Resource Recycling Conference has a limited number of volunteer and scholarships available. To request, please send an email to cara@resource-recycling.com and include your full name, organization name and contact information.

How do I request an international invitation letter?

To request an international invitation letter, please send an email to cara@resource-recycling.com and include your full name, company name, mailing address and any other special requests that need to be included in the letter.

Is the ballroom carpeted?

The exhibit hall will be in XXXXX at the Hilton Austin. The ballroom is fully carpeted.

When will booth assignments be made?

Booth assignments will be made/confirmed approximately one month prior to the conference. Your company contact will receive an email with the assignments, and they will be added to your listing on the website.

Do I need to include my booth number when shipping my booth?

You may ship your booth to Expo Services without your booth assignment. The conference staff will be in touch with Expo Services and will provide booth assignments once they are completed.

What is the shipping address?

Please refer to the Expo Services Kit from GES for all shipping needs.

Please contact the Expo Services Company at XXX-XXX-XXXX for show site shipping information. The Hilton Austin will not accept booth shipments.

How do I secure electrical and internet services for my booth?

Exhibiting companies will find the appropriate forms to order electrical and/or internet services in the exposition services kit.

When can I set-up and tear-down my booth?

Installation of Exhibit - Monday, August 27th from 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Installation of exhibit equipment and material must be completely set-up and in-place by 6:30 pm on Monday, August 27th. Installation times are subject to change slightly.

Dismantling of Exhibit - Wednesday, August 29th from 1:15 pm - 4:30 pm

Dismantling of booths may commence no earlier than 1:15 pm, and the exhibit hall must be completely cleared by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, August 29th. Dismantling times are subject to change slightly. Exhibitors may be fined by the Fire Marshal for tearing down exhibits prior to the official time.

Do booth representatives need to register for the conference?

Yes, all attendees must be registered for the conference in order to enter the trade show. Please register all of your company's attendees online here, or call 503-233-1305 to register by phone.

How many complimentary registrations does my organization receive?

Platinum Sponsors receive four complimentary registrations
Gold Sponsors receive three complimentary registrations
Silver Sponsors receive two complimentary registrations
Exhibitors receive one complimentary registration

Can I purchase additional registrations?

You can purchase additional Sponsor and Exhibitor registrations at the discounted rate of $365 per person (regular attendee registration rate is $465). Please register online, or call 503-233-1305 to register by phone.

Can I provide clients trade show only passes?

The Resource Recycling Conference does not provide trade show only passes. All guests must be registered to enter the trade show.

When will I receive the attendee list?

The 2012 Resource Recycling Conference attendee list (at time of printing) will be included in your conference packet. The attendee list, including all on-site registrations, will be included on the secure website of conference proceedings and will be sent within two weeks of the end of the conference.

If you are interested in list rental and other marketing opportunities to attendees pre/post conference, please contact Cara Bergeson at cara@resource-recycling.com.

How do I secure a small meeting room to meet with clients and/or potential clients?

We have secured a few smaller meeting rooms for sponsors and/or exhibitors to be meet with clients and potential clients. To secure a meeting room, email cara@resource-recycling.com with the day and time requested and number of people attending. Space is available on a first come basis and is limited to a maximum of two hours.
